Valley Gardens Playschool is going GREEN!  You will find our updated Parent Policy Manual on our website.  Please click on the link on the left side of the page. We will also be posting our monthly newsletters and important Playschool information on the website for you to view anytime.  If you need a printed copy of any information, please let the staff know.

 

Graduation Day - On May 28 and May 29 we will be putting on a graduation for the children and their families.  Please bring your children at regular hours, the children will go into the classroom and the parents/families will be shown to the gym.  Please feel free to invite special people in your children's life to this special event, like grandparents.  There will be a sit down portion and then following we will have a potluck snack to celebrate the end of the year.  The sign up sheet for snacks is posted in the cloak room, please sign up to bring something on the graduation day.

 

Board Positions - We have Board positions open for the school year 2012-2013.  We will be sending out Board of Directors info in your Orientation packages that will be mailed out to you in the summer.  For info on what each board member is responsible for please click on the Board of Directors Position and letter on the left side of this page.  The Playschool cannot run without these positions being filled.

Reminder to Parents - If your child is sick and will not be coming to school please call the school at 668-6417 to let the teachers know that your child will be away.

 

Special Requests:

Parents: Please remember to pack an extra set of clothes for your child.  These are just in case we get messy at school!

 

Please collect the following items, they are items we have a lot of use for at Nursery School!

• 4L milk jug lids
• Bread bag tags
• Safeway or other plastic bags
• Egg cartons
• Foam Trays
• Paper towel and Toilet Paper tubes
• Yogurt Cups
• 4 liter ice cream lids
• Margarine Tub lids
• Barbie and/or Ken clothes

If you would like to donate plastic spoons or paper plates it would be appreciated.
